Responsibilities and Tasks
– Stay Current On Micron/SpecTek NAND/DRAM Product Generations
– Effectively facilitate product qualifications with cross Lab collaboration.
– Open and maintain professional relationships and communication with other departments.
Perform Product Test And Failure Analysis
– Assist engineering with system level debugging using software programs, bus analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
– Assist the engineering team on projects that include but are not limited to Returned Material Authorization (RMA) request, initial product qualifications, Assembly quals, and ongoing production sampling.
– Drive issues to closure by interfacing/collaborating with engineers.
– Be responsible for the operation of lab test equipment to enable yourself to identify products by fuse ID, manufacturing part numbers and design ID.
– Monitor and act on lab equipment operational health
Provide Support For Engineers And Customers.
– Provide technical support (e.g. failure analysis, questions, etc.) for system level issues.
– Provide clear written and verbal pass down for tasks completed and issues requiring follow-up.
– Support engineering activities and provide documentation if applicable.
– Clearly understand customers’ requests and communicate qualification results.
– Create and maintain relationships with qualification requestors.
Support Equipment, Processes And Documentation For SpecTek Labs
– Operate and maintain tools to assure equipment and/or processes are running to lab requirements.
– Promote continuous process and equipment improvement.
– Identify lab issues provide timely feedback to proper stakeholders
– Ensure lab is kept clean, organized, and fully operational.
– Seek equipment solutions with other departments if equipment is not available in your immediate area.
Support And Perform EHSS Responsibilities
– Identify and promptly report any conditions or behaviors that are contrary to EHS policies or procedures.
– Follow safety procedures and area work rules (including use of proper PPE, energy isolation, and chemical safety).
– Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer and company guidelines
– Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner.
– Cooperate with all audits
