We’re seeking a future team member for the role of  Vice President, Payroll Administration Manager II . This role is located in Pune – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Ensure accurate / timely monthly payroll processing while maximizing efficiencies, maintaining operational standards, and adhering to Organizational policies and procedures.
  • End to end visibility on the processes that will impact payroll and downstream ex: General Ledger, Remittances and Lodgments 
  • Ability to drive efficiently and excellence in service delivery.
  • Adherence to set Service Delivery Matrices 
  • Cohesively work with Internal People team COE’s and Stakeholders 
  • Ensure compliance with, in country laws and internal policies. Stay updated on the changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Lead and manage a team of payroll professionals, providing guidance, support and coaching. Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set goals and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Evaluate the skill requirement of each team member and obtain the necessary training materials to maintain high quality of service.
  • Liaise with Internal and external auditors and manage risk and compliances until last mile.
  • Responsible for coordinating global and local Payroll requirements, including ownership of country overviews / risk assessment and the global payroll calendar. Handle employee queries and arrange org wide open sessions for all the team members quarterly.
  • Reviews, analyze and verifies payroll reports and documents for accuracy; makes necessary adjustments or corrections through journal entries or other established procedures.
  • Analyzes and responds to complex matters requiring comprehensive knowledge of payroll policies and procedures; authorizes exceptions to the policy within defined limits.
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the payroll processing team ensuring the processes are running effectively and accurately.
  • Define standard operating procedures and continuous improvement opportunities for the group and work with the other groups within the region to establish standard controls and processes.
  • Develop and implement new processes/Improve existing processes where needed.
  • Monitor and report payroll performance to key stakeholders and work with finance leadership to develop and drive strategy to meet the organization strategic objectives.
  • To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree 
  • Minimum years of experience in payroll processing/management 
  • Strong understanding of APAC/EMEA/India local payroll tax regulations 
  • Previous leadership experience in a payroll or shared service environment 
  • Team player, flexible, and ability to resolve conflicts. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Senior presence and ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders. 
  • Non-hierarchical with an “inclusive approach and a high tolerance for ambiguity” 
  • Self-motivated, responsive, and end-product oriented 
  • Creative and enthusiastic to lead.
