We are looking for a Director Software Engineering to join RUCKUS Networks located in Bangalore. How You’ll Help Us Connect the World:We are looking for dedicated Software professional to Lead technology focused, forward looking, innovative Software Engineering Team for Wi-Fi Access Point Product development in India. Required Qualifications for Consideration:Experience in working with product management team for feature roadmapExperience in working with multi-functional team for project deliverables, dependencies, landmarks, and product/feature optimizations.Experience in leading complex, innovative feature development for solving key customer pain points.Good track record of delivering the projects on time with zero defects.Good understanding of carrier grade product architecture, design and ability to participate in technical reviews, architecture discussion and guide the team in adopting best solutionsKeeping customer focus, and working with system/field engineers and product management team to address customer needsAbility to act as technical anchor point for the team and point of contact for cross functional and external teams.Good record of Identifying and hiring talented, passionate, tech savvy engineersExperience in driving continuous improvement: Reducing waste and lead time, improve productivity, Collaboration, team capability and skillsInterest in exploring, understanding equivalent products and solutions in the market to build competitive productAbility to guide and work closely with cross functional teams to handle technical challenges, obstacles in the project execution Requirements:18+ years of experience in Wi-Fi AP or equivalent product development with hands on experience in delivering critical feature enhancements Understanding of the industry focus, technology evolution with good knowledge WiFi standards and specifications.Good understanding of the Access Point architecture and design with familiarity of the critical components and modulesGood understanding of the Network topology, deployments, and use casesGood Knowledge of integrating AP with On-Prem/Cloud controllers, data traffic aggregators, analytics engines, and other software as service applicationsUnderstanding of WiFi chip vendor SDK architecture, design including the knowledge of critical components WiFi driver, target/firmware, HW offload engine, Crypto, PPE, NSS, etcFamiliarity of Federal Security certifications like FIPS, CC/CSfC, USGv6, JITC, NIST, etc Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery of product featuresExperience in front ending resolution for customer issues by working with multi-functional teamsAbility to influence and empower teams to deliver best in class featuresAbility to motivate and guide teams to innovate and get new ideas to enhance product functions You Will Excite Us If You Have:Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science, Electronics and CommunicationsWiFi AP or equivalent product development with hands on experienceGood experience in managing large technical teams including managers and working with multi-functional teams in different geographies Why CommScope?CommScope is on a quest to deliver connectivity that empowers how we live, work, and learn.
