Our client is a reputed Indian listed company head quartered in Pune with operations Pan India & Overseas. They are looking to recruit a Business Unit Controller at a DGM Level for their B2C Business Vertical.

Job Title – BU Controller , B2C Business

Reporting to CFO- B2C Business

Location – Pune (initial) with a transferability to Ahmedabad in a year or so

Qualification – Chartered Accountant a must with 10-12 years of Post qualification experience

CTC on offer – INR 25 to 30 LPA including variable and will depend on last drawn CTC

Job Purpose-

To ensure correct and timely accounting, fund management, timely AOP preparation, tax comliances, coordination with CFT and business head, internal control, DoA management, provide leadership to F & A team.

Job Responsibilities:

A. Strategic

– Driving F & A team for achieving KRAs with respect to long term goals
– To be part of leadership team for long term profitability and financial stability of organisation
– To implement internal control measures

– To direct developement of AOP and long range plans
– Take responsibility of consolidating all Annual Sales Plans and undertake strategic discussions to understand requirements across the BUs

B. Financial

– Provide actual data on monthly / quarterly basis comparing with AOP
– Ensuring completeness of financial with accuracy in timely manner
– Review of Monthly Debtors, creditors, Inventory & all balance sheets items
– Product level and Segmental profitability
– Savings verification and actual impact to profitability
– Manage the departmental budget and ensure that all expenses are within the approved budget set at the beginning of the year
– Monitor / work on costing for each product group and region to ensure target profitability, Financial analysis of monthly and quarterly results

C. Operational

– Timely and correct submission of monthly MIS for MRM, quarterly Board meetings
– Improve timelines for MRM submission from baseline of FY 24
– To collaborate with CFT, HODs and F & A sources
– Close coordination with internal auditors
– Monitoring of individual activities of direct reportees at regular intervals
– To establish review mechanism within F & A
– To prepare SOPs and RCM for finance activities
– Establish systems to ensure resolution of customer queries on product and warranty issues
– Ensure regular interaction with channel partners and key customer segments to ensure market alignment of sales and marketing activities

D. People / Team

– Training & development of team members
– Soft skill and hard skill development for team
– Managerial and communication skill development
– Timely performance evaluation
– Building up in-house capabilities for the employees in the department
