Project Manager – Data Analytics Expert

Job Description

ACER India is seeking to hire one (1) Project Manager – Data Analytics Expert to support a CBSE project titled ‘Technical Support Unit (TSU) for assisting in establishment and management of Centre for Excellence in Assessment in CBSE to work on Competency Based Assessments’.

This position will require the expert to work closely with the ACER India team and stakeholders within CBSE.

The duration of the project is 2 years.

Responsibilities
Analyse assessment data to identify patterns, trends, and insights related to student learning outcomes and teacher performance.
Develop and manage data visualization tools to present findings clearly and effectively.
Utilize advanced data analytics tools (e.g., Python, SQL, IRT PRO) to perform statistical analyses and psychometric evaluations.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of data used for reporting and decision-making.
Support the design and implementation of analytics frameworks for competency-based assessments.
Collaborate with other team members to integrate data-driven insights into assessment frameworks and teacher capacity-building strategies.
Develop systems to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational interventions and reforms.
Work on government project requirements to align analytics with educational policy goals.
Provide inputs for the development of digital platforms, ensuring robust data management and synchronization features.
Prepare reports and presentations summarizing analytical findings for stakeholders and decision-makers.
Support the TSU team in using data analytics for informed decision-making.
Contribute to the sustainability and scalability of data analytics processes within the project.

Qualifications
Post-Graduate or equivalent in Management / or Graduate in Computer Science/IT or related field.
Degree/Diploma in Data Analytics/data visualization & related areas.
8 or more number of years of experience of working on government project in data analytics.
Good understanding of various analytical tool and application.
Proven experience in using data for educational policy analysis and decision making.
Advanced proficiency in python, SQL for data management and IRT PRO.
