Job Description

Role:

The candidate will be responsible for the growth of ASMPT SMT business in the South Asia countries (South India and Sri Lanka).

Responsibilities:

– Design and implement strategic sales plan to expand company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence
– Develop new accounts and manage channel partners independently to increase customer base and revenue
– Engage customers proactively and build a long-term customer relationship
– Promote ASMPT SMT brand awareness with significant impact on customer experience
– Consistently meet revenue goals in accordance with individual/team/organizational goals
– Responsible for equipment configuration and proposals preparation

Requirements:

– MBA/Degree in Engineering or related discipline
– Minimum of 10 years‘ of experience, preferably in the Capital Equipment Sales and Marketing
– Knowledge in SMT and/or Factory software solutions and/or Semicon (Advanced Packaging) industry
– Minimum of 10 years‘ of SMT machines and technological knowledge of Printing and Placement Product Portfolio /Processes
– Have a well-established network with the SMT industry in South Asia countries
– Strong analytical and problem solving skills
– Effective negotiation skills
– Results & quality oriented
– Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
– Able and willing to travel extensively locally and internationally
