Job Title: Senior Regional Sales Manager

Skills: Business Development, IT Services selling experience, State Government Sales, PSU Sales

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Hyderabad (preferred), or alternatively in Bengaluru or Chennai

– Have a deep understanding of the government procurement process, established relationships with key stakeholders, and proven experience in state government sales within a systems integration company.
– Lead sales efforts in the South region, focusing on IT business opportunities within state governments.
– Build and nurture relationships with senior bureaucrats, government officials, and decision-makers to influence and drive sales.
– Develop a thorough understanding of government tenders, procurement processes, and compliance requirements.
– Build and manage relationships with key OEMs and partners to develop joint strategies for winning government business.
– Drive sales targets and contribute to the growth and expansion of state government business in the South region.
– Provide strategic input and insight into market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform business strategy.
– Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, bids, and other documentation necessary for government projects.

Key Requirements:

– At least 10-12 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 5 years specifically in state government sales.
– Must have worked in a Systems Integration company, with deep familiarity in selling IT solutions to state governments.
– Extensive experience in handling sales for states like Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala.
– Strong knowledge of government business processes, including familiarity with government tenders, procurement policies, and contract management.
– Proven relationships with senior government officials and key OEMs.
– Strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage complex government deals, excellent relationship management, and strategic thinking.
– BE + MBA or Graduate + MBA
– A professional network within state government and OEMs across South India.
– Demonstrated success in driving large-scale state government IT projects.
