Associate Director of Finance
Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
This is a high impact & critical role within the Finance team, which entails components of accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurement & Finance infrastructure.
An ambitious individual who can deal with ambiguity and is interested in working for a growth-phase company would be an ideal fit for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, Procurement & Finance infrastructure
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements & reports
- Establish and monitor the KPIs and SLAs on the A/R and A/P process
- Oversee the Fixed assets process including review of FAR, monthly depreciation runs, supporting physical verification and ensuring accurate reporting in the financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Run the Payroll process
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Enable controls to have “Zero” non-compliances on regulatory matters.
- Understand and oversee the Special Economic Zone compliance.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience in Finance operations
- Chartered accountant with 10-15 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with creating financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process
- Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
