Job Description :

Implement safety plans and apply a safety-first approach to every aspect of project delivery.

Successfully deliver assigned projects.

Manage to the scope of the project.

Manage costs to deliver the project within budget constraints.

Minimize work in progress, manage the timing of costs and invoicing.

Maintain an accurate forecast of project costs and cash-flow.

Plan and manage the quality of project deliverables.

Maintain up to date schedule with milestones, work breakdown structure and tasks.

Manage changes to scope and project outcomes, raising cost variations for approval by the customer.

Clearly communicate project objectives, progress, and changes to all stakeholders.

Manage and promptly resolve project issues.

Identify and mitigate project risk, escalating high risk items to management.

Assemble and lead the project team.

Manage the procurement of materials.

Hire (pre-approved) subcontractors, establish contractual terms and manage their performance.

Adhere to our internal processes and project methodology.

Maintain an accurate forecast of project costs for all assigned projects.

Prioritises resource allocation to deliver multiple projects simultaneously.

Report to management the status of projects and how risks are being managed.

Requirements :

Advanced design and delivery expertise in electrical engineering, power systems and/or control systems engineering projects.

PLC, SCADA, RTU/Automation experience desirable.

Minimum of 7+ years proven experience within the automation industry.

Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider and/or other PLC programming and commissioning experience.

Experience in Food and Beverages, Energy, Process Industries, Utilities, Heavy Industry (Steel, mining), Pharmaceuticals, Automobile, Packaging.

Demonstrable experience integrating legacy systems.

Builds customer confidence through trusted communication and a demonstrated understanding of customer needs.

Encourages repeat business by maintaining positive relationships with customers.

Identifies new opportunities, leveraging all lines of business through an understanding of customer priorities.

Experience as a Project Manager within the automation industry or similar environment.

Certificate IV or Diploma in Project Management is desirable.
