Role: Civil 3D Modeler
Job Summary:

The Civil 3D Design Specialist will engage in a diverse array of design and drafting tasks, including the creation and updating of plan/profile drawings for pipelines, road alignments, and grading projects. This role requires establishing and adhering to client-specific standards and guidelines.
Essential Functions:
Mastery of

AutoCAD Civil 3D

for:
Terrain and surface water management modeling. Stormwater design and hydrology principles. Designing pressure and gravity pipe networks. Grading projects using corridor modeling. Producing construction-ready drawings. Integrating Civil 3D outputs with other BIM software like Revit and Plant 3D. A thorough understanding of Civil 3D annotation styles, label styles, and key objects such as surfaces, alignments, profiles, and volume calculations.
Innovate to reduce drawing production costs and time.

Utilize plugins efficiently for integrating applications like HEC-RAS, Storm CAD, and Water/Sewer GEMS to meet project specifications.

Problem-solving skills, including data collection, fact establishment, and drawing valid conclusions.

Participate in client meetings, present project updates, and support project leadership in engineering tasks.

Incorporate safety and quality standards into design practices.

Willingness to travel for international projects and assignments.

Qualifications:
Advanced degree (ME or BE) in Civil/Environmental Engineering is preferred.
Certification as an Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D Professional.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Experience with international projects is beneficial.
Recent passing of an Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D certification exam is advantageous.
