Job Summary:
Coforge is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President – Central Government Sales to lead and drive our Central government business. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence and achieving significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and capture market share in the Central government business
Team Management : Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve aggressive sales targets
Business Development : Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with central government departments and agencies
Client Relationships : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at the central government level
Sales Execution : Drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure, ensuring timely and accurate deal execution
Performance Management : Track and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Partner Ecosystem : Develop and manage strong relationships with OEMs, consultants, and other partners to expand market reach and accelerate sales

Role Competency:

Proven track record of success in leading and managing large sales teams in the government sector, particularly central governments.
Deep understanding of the government procurement process, tendering procedures, and regulatory frameworks.
Strong knowledge of the Central government business
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with government officials at various levels.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
