Duration: Long Term Contract-Min 2 Years + Extension

Position: Sr Technical Writer- Developer documentation

technical writing, preferably with a focus on developer documentation.

Overall Responsibilities:

– Plan, write, publish, and maintain high-quality technical developer documentation for Data Infrastructure projects.

– Organize existing documents, identify documentation needs, and lead efforts to fill gaps and enhance coverage and quality.

– Collaborate with Engineers, Product managers, Program Managers, and UX specialists

– Edit content submitted by engineers to adhere to the client’s TW style.

– Review content submitted by engineers.

– Meet with engineers/PgMs to address documentation questions for specific projects.

Mandatory:

– Bachelor’s Degree in English or CS.

– 4-5 years of experience in developing, structuring, and designing concise and clear content

– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

– Self-starter who takes initiative and delivers results.

– Proficient at establishing relationships and alliances with engineering teams.

– Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.

– Working experience with Git and GitHub publishing processes.

– Good understanding of markup languages such as HTML and Markdown.

Preferred:

– Understanding of the data lifecycle and its associated products and services.

– Experience working on data infrastructure-related products.

– Good understanding of the developer’s lifecycle and journey.
