Our customer is one of the top ten most valuable banks in India, with a valuation of more than 65,000 crore rupees. They are headquartered in Mumbai and looking to hire for their Engineering team in Chennai.They are seeking an experienced and dynamic DevOps Engineering Manager with a strong background in AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, proficient in automated provisioning, and cloud management, and possess expertise in Financial Operations (FinOps) with a focus on resource optimization.Role & Responsibilities:AWS Cloud Management:Lead the design, deployment, and management of AWS cloud infrastructure to ensurescalability, security, and reliability, and oversee the implementation of best practices.Automated Provisioning:Drive the development and maintenance of automated provisioning processes forinfrastructure deployment, leveraging tools such as Terraform and Packer.Financial Operations (FinOps):Implement and champion FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and resourceutilization.Conduct regular cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings withoutcompromising performance.Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Collaborate with teams to implement and maintain IaC scripts for infrastructureconfiguration and deployment.Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance andsupport.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Drive the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to automate softwaredelivery processes and ensure seamless and reliable application deployments across environments.Monitoring and Optimization:Implement monitoring solutions for cloud resources and applications.Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal systemperformanceWhat you need:Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, with experience managing and leading teams.Strong proficiency in AWS cloud services, automated provisioning, and cloud management.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Packer.Expertise in FinOps and optimizing cloud resources for cost efficiency.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and scripting languages.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
