Job Description

This position needs a proactive, ambitious and results oriented professional who shall bring in focus through consultative approach for the non-iron applications with prospective customers. The incumbent shall bring a strong focus through a business development approach for IMEA region. This position will require assessing the market size, key players, potential customers and create opportunities for sales management to take the business to a logical conclusion. The incumbent will a part of DISA & Simpson – OEM sales team in IMEA region. The role has a significant interface with national & regional sales in India and across IMEA region. This position also requires an interface with the non- iron global sales organization in the DISA Line of Business at Denmark.

Responsibilities:

General tasks:
OEM Business development for Non-Iron applications in foundry industry
Market Analysis for Non-Iron Foundries applications (Steel, Aluminum, Brass etc.)

Specific tasks:
Direct focus on Non-Iron applications for the foundry business in IMEA
Size the overall market for the Non-Iron applications in IMEA
Identify key players in the industry as competitors
Act as front line to create leads and convert them to opportunities for the sales organization in the CRM
Responsible for sales growth in the Non-Iron segment of DISA business
Responsible for delivering the sales targets for the Non-Iron segment for IMEA.
Support regions technically and commercially.
Establish contact and build up relations with end user customers
Represent DISA Non-Iron during participation in seminars, conferences, symposiums and events to build your business network and profile.
Responsible for bringing in technological trends in the segment for feedback to product organizations
Develop marketing plan including representation in seminars, conferences etc

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor / PG in in mechanical / electrical / metallurgy engineering, MBA will be an added advantage. 12-15 years of experience in running a foundry or in a related industry who sells OEM equipment in Industrial environment
Good knowledge about the industrial environment and technology savvy.
Desired knowledge in related industry is an added advantage
Knowledge of key account management with selling capabilities to senior level executives
Experienced in customer contact and presentation technique
Proven record of working with MNC environment with local and global teams

Position Interfaces with:

IMEA Sales, Customers, Engineering, Global Technology center, Agents and Line of business organization.

Reports:

Business development on a monthly basis, Leads and opportunity matrix, Quote log sizing and success ratio for conversion to actual business, marketing activities
