Job Title: Clean Room Specialist for OSAT / FAB Facility Construction
Overview:
The Clean Room Specialist for OSAT Factory Construction is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and commissioning of clean room facilities essential for semiconductor manufacturing processes within the factory. Expertise and knowledge of various types of Clean Room standards, environmental controls, and cleanliness protocols to support the production of high-quality semiconductor products is mandatory for this role.
The candidate shall have 15-20 years of experience coordinating and commissioning Clean Rooms in OSAT / FAB facility construction for semiconductor manufacturers.
Expertise in sourcing of clean room equipment and knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to design clean room facilities that meet semiconductor manufacturing requirements, including cleanliness levels, HVAC systems, and environmental controls.
- Ensure integration of specialized systems such as HVAC, filtration, air showers, and particle monitoring systems to maintain clean room conditions.
- Manage the construction, installation, and testing of clean room facilities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and project schedules.
- Collaborate with validation teams to develop protocols, conduct IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation Qualification, Operational Qualification, Performance Qualification) tests, and document results to ensure compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
- Ensure smooth transition of clean rooms from construction phase to operational phase, including training of personnel on clean room protocols and procedures.
- Address non-conformances, deviations, and corrective actions related to clean room operations and facilities maintenance.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of clean room design, construction activities, commissioning procedures, and qualification reports.
- Document lessons learned and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; specialized training or certification in clean room design and construction is advantageous.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with clean room design tools and software.
