Job Description

Role Description:

Schematic and Architecture design, Selection of electrical Components.

Proactively involved in design-related Field issues and resolved them through problem-solving methods.

Work on developing new product specifications and technology roadmap for swapping stations.

Capable of handling DV and DVVP tests.

Should be Capable of handling Design Documentation and Design Processes.

Support in making physical prototypes using in-house and outsourced resources.

Should be able to conduct root cause analysis & propose cost-effective solutions using a problem-solving technique.

Interact with customers/vendors on Design discussion and developments.

Teamwork across the organization to review and transform existing technology and define new technology Lead the technical strategy and architectural ownership.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge in Electrical Circuit design, EV Standards, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of Wiring harnesses and integration of electronic components.
  • Good knowledge in SOR, DV, Design calculation, and DFMEA.
  • Understanding of HILS validation of EV components and systems.
  • Good knowledge in IEC/ISO standards related to Battery Swapping and Battery.
  • Experience in all stages of product development for EV Charging stations.
  • Hands on defining the requirement for the sensor/ power system’s component and Logic programming.
  • Knowledge on Electrical component & product level testing.
  • Hands On experience in diagnostics and communication protocols like – CAN/RS232/RS485/ PLC.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC and Homologation tests.

Ideal Candidate (Experience, Qualification, Previous Work-ex, Companies etc.)

  • Experience: Minimum 5 – 7 years
  • Qualification: B. TECH / Masters in E&E, E&C.
  • Previous Work-ex: Electrical Design Engineer (R&D)
  • Must have at least B.E/B.Tech in Electrical, electronic with charging station experience.
  • Must have worked with Battery and Battery charging system for at least 2 years.
  • Candidates from product-based manufacturing industries are preferred.
  • Processes excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment & self-driven ownership of the product from drawing board to production.
  • Should take initiatives with Proactive approach to resolve technical challenges.
