Position: Engineering Manager (Node.js)

Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise in Node.js development.

– Drive the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions using Node.js, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA, to define project requirements and deliverables.

– Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and priorities to ensure on-time delivery of projects.

– Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous learning within the dental e-commerce domain.

– Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to improve code quality, scalability, and maintainability.

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Node.js development within the e-commerce sector.

Requirements:

– 7+ years of experience in software development.

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

– Extensive experience in Node.js development.

– Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering teams in an e-commerce environment.

– In-depth knowledge of Node.js frameworks such as Express/NestJS.

– Solid understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs, and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).

– Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.

– Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience in Microservice architecture.

– Experience with cloud-based technologies and services (e.g., AWS ECS, EC2, Lambda).

– Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
