Position: Executive / Senior Executive Warehouse Operations
Location: Devanahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560300
About The Role
Warehouse Executive – Central Kitchen, Bengaluru.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Conduct regular stock checks to ensure accurate inventory records and minimize discrepancies. Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely replenishment.
Goods Receipt and Inspection: Receive incoming materials and products, verifying the quantity and quality against purchase orders or specifications. Inspect and document any damages, defects, or discrepancies. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve any issues.
Stock Organization: Properly store and organize inventory to ensure efficient space utilization, easy accessibility, and proper stock rotation (first-in, first-out). Implement appropriate labelling and tracking systems to facilitate inventory management and retrieval.
Inventory Reconciliation: Conduct regular inventory reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Investigate and report any inventory variances, taking necessary corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, returns, and adjustments. Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and stock aging. Provide timely reports to management on inventory status and trends.
Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to standard operating procedures. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless flow of materials and products.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and vendors. Collaborate on pricing, delivery schedules, and quality requirements. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate favorable terms to optimize procurement activities.
Quality Control: Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications for incoming materials and finished goods. Participate in quality inspections, investigations, and non-conformance resolution as required.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store area. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, following proper storage and handling practices for materials and products.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and operational efficiencies within the store and inventory management functions. Propose and implement effective solutions to enhance store operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in store management, inventory control (ideally in a central kitchen) or similar role for minimum 5 to 6 years.
Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and systems.
Familiarity with food safety and quality standards.
Proficiency in using inventory management software or ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
