Job Description

Primary Responsibilities :
Adhere to accounting SOPs while reviewing accounting statements.
Ensure timely closure of books of accounts – Compilation of financial statements, finalization of statements.
Ensure monthly MIS and collections report for the Leadership team are published and share in time.
Adhere to the Budget for accounting activities of the asset.
Assisting during Statutory, Internal, Cost Audit by providing necessary documents, records &details.
Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non- compliance.
Posting / Review of all entries in SAP & maintaining all accounting & statutory files.
Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
Review of all AMCs & regular Vendor invoices within time frame along with outsourced
agency.
Monitor all bank activities sheets and receivable ageing data.
Review of monthly TDS working & preparing challans for depositing the same.
Preparing statement for reconciliation of TDS receivables.
Review and Filing of all statutory returns (i.e. GST, TDS and Income Tax etc.).
Distribution & Collection of TDS Certificates from various vendors /clients.
Preparation / Review of monthly bank reconciliation statement.
Manage query resolution and reconciliation within the prescribed TATs.
Assist internal and external teams in direct and indirect tax assessments, as well as implementation and maintenance of internal compliance software.
Ensure accurate reporting of tax related details.
Ensure that Company bears no cost escalations due to fines / penalties for delays in tax filing/ inaccurate tax filing pertaining to the asset.
Update all compliance related information regarding lender reporting / debt covenant testing, credit rating reviews etc., and exception reporting.
Consolidate data coming from other teams of Finance, Leasing, Operations, etc. within the stipulated time.
Co-ordinate with rating agencies, bankers, other stakeholders as and when required.
Deliver the role in alignment with the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework, including Health and Safety (EHS).

Role Requirements:
Educational Qualification : Chartered Accountant
Work Experience: 3 to 5 years of post qualification experience
Skills Required:
Experience in MIS, Financial Statement Closure, Indian Accounting Standard, Taxation
Strong background in Accounts Payable
Process Orientation
SAP
Tally ERP
MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills
Knowledge of Tax, Accounting and PF Compliance rules
