Position Title: General Manager – Sales & Marketing – Specialty Coatings Emulsions Work Location: Head office – Lower Parel, Mumbai Position Summary:To efficiently lead, identify, develop, and manage potential new Specialty business divisions independently, ensuring market leadership and high market share.To provide necessary technical inputs and work closely with the Technology Center to develop new applications and products as per the market need. Key Responsibilities:Identify the potential new industry / Application/ Chemistry / Product for Speciality Business.Do extensive all-India market / Industry research/customer surveys/competitor analysis to establish the business potential compile the information and make the business case.Align the new product development selection with technology center.Ensure business development and growth leading to higher sales & and profitability through direct sales & and channel partners.Understand in-depth customer requirements and work closely with the Tech Centre Team to develop product specs that meet these requirements.Evaluate market competition, and analyse competitors’ offerings, pricing strategies etc. Experience & Qualification:B Sc. / B. Tech / Postgraduate in Engineering preferably Chemical.Master’s Degree / Diploma in Business Management.12 15 years Sales / Marketing / Business Development experience handling specialty chemicals.Competencies & Skills:To possess strong business acumen and relation building capability.To be target oriented to achieve high profit margins & sales target.
