Job purpose

The New Business Integration – AR/VR Team is looking for an experienced and dedicated project manager to support in (i) building, (ii) managing New Business-related aspects in the newly created AR/ VR Program of ZEISS Vision.

The project manager will join our hybrid team of project managers distributed across the Global Supply Chain, Performance and Program Management organization. As a team we are actively contributing to a successful transformation of a globally growing organization by adapting E2E processes to changing business models, industry patterns and customer needs.

The resource will be mainly responsible for driving selected cross-functional Projects, mainly in Supply Chain and Performance Management. Furthermore, the project manager will act as focal between Program, Business and IT to drive seamless integration of new business into serial business.

Main Accountabilities

1. Take over the lead in select cross-functional Projects, mainly to drive New Business Integration, in the context of Order Fulfilment.
2. Actively contribute to a successful transformation of a globally growing organization by adapting E2E processes to changing business models, industry patterns and customer needs
3. Lay out required concepts and processes and translate them into milestones and actionable tasks in line with the overall project plan.
4. Maintain and drive a high degree of operational excellence throughout the organization.
5. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
6. Maintain strong and trustful customer contact and relationship on a day-to-day basis to determine client needs.
7. Collaborate closely with other global business functions like IT, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance in terms of cross-functional alignment on requirements, handshakes, and limitations.
8. Build a strong network and trustful relationships on all organizational levels across ZEISS Vision Care

Job Specifications

1. A university degree, preferably in engineering, business administration or business informatics, paired with a dedication for E2E processes in Supply Chain Management or Operations.
2. A proven track-record of around 5 years of professional experience in abovementioned fields complemented by strong project management skills in a fast-paced environment, ideally gained in AR/VR, Order Fulfilment, high-tech industries or consulting.
3. Experienced in establishing and implementing business excellence/ business integration paired with a broad understanding for E2E processes, business requirements and their translation into IT language
4. An entrepreneurial mindset and engaging personality with a strong conceptual thinking paired with hands-on mentality and the assertiveness to drive operational implementation.
5. Adaptable, proactive and comfortable structuring topics under ambiguity.
6. Strong communications skills including the ability to grasp complex situations turning them into easy-to-understand phrases
7. A very good command in English, further languages are a plus
