Role Overview:

The Airtel Online Growth Head is responsible for driving user acquisition and growth across all lines of business through the online channel. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in crafting and executing innovative growth strategies in a highly competitive digital landscape. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital landscape, consumer behaviour and the ability to leverage data to drive growth.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital growth strategy: Aligned with Airtel’s overall business objectives, create a long-term vision for online growth & user acquisition
  • Lead Digital & Performance marketing for Airtel to drive user acquisition through digital channels including search, social media, and display advertising.
  • Optimize the customer journey across the website & app to improve conversion rates and optimize the funnel
  • Oversee SEO efforts to improve Airtel website visibility and increase organic traffic
  • Foster a data-driven culture: Leverage analytics and insights to identify growth opportunities, measure performance, and optimize marketing investments.
  • Collaborate across functions: Partner closely with product, category, technology, and other business units to ensure alignment and optimize synergies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and consumer behaviour to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of innovation and experimentation: Encourage a risk-taking environment where new ideas are explored and tested

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in driving online growth and user acquisition for a large-scale organization.
  • Deep understanding of the digital ecosystem, including performance marketing, SEO, App growth, social media and emerging channels
  • Experience in product-led growth and optimization of user journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decision-making
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Education:

MBA for Tier-1/Tier2 college (Batch 2014 or Prior)
