Responsibilities:

Strategic AI Planning:
Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with business objectives.
Identify and prioritize opportunities for AI-driven innovation in the industry.

Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of data scientists.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Algorithm Development:
Design and implement machine learning algorithms to improve user engagement and retention.
Utilize predictive modeling to enhance the hyper-personalized experience for users via recommendations
Enable optimization, automation, and machine intelligence in business decision-making across marketing, business planning, etc.

Data and Model Analysis:
Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive product enhancements and business decisions.
Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data quality and availability.
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure a standard modeling pipeline, including data and model drift monitoring and course correction
Ensure quality assurance of the models in the productions through in-depth analysis of the models and their outcomes in the context

Product Integration:
Collaborate with product managers to integrate AI capabilities into the platform.
Ensure seamless user experiences through AI-driven features.

Technology Evaluation:
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance the platform’s capabilities.

Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide AI-driven solutions.
Collaborate with other AI teams to exchange and leverage best practices, frameworks, and algorithms.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.
7+ years of industry experience with proven experience (3+ years) in a leadership role overseeing AI and machine learning projects.
Knowledge of state-of-the-art AI developments, strong ability, and conviction to strategically plan and connect modern into business context.
Expertise in predictive modeling, recommender systems, statistical analysis, and/or modern AI networks such as NLP, computer vision, transformers, or Gen AI concepts.
Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
