Head of Marketing – B2C – CTC upto 1 Crs
Job Description
We are currently hiring for “Head of Marketing” with a leading D2C startup based out in Gurgaon/ Chennai.
The person will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and monitoring the overall marketing strategy which includes digital and offline channels. With a team size of 15+ people individuals and Agency, his/her responsibilities will include Communications, SEM, SEO, PPC, Mobile, Affiliate, Content, Graphics, ORM, PR along with various other strategic marketing technology initiatives.
Short Term goals
Draw up a plan for the marketing function across hiring and goals .
Work with the design & performance marketing team to create thematic brand campaigns .
Execute effective brand initiatives to improve upper-funnel brand metrics.
Identify and create meaningful touch points to drive customer consideration.
Scale our influencer marketing efforts to reflect the brand tonality and relevance to our TG
Medium – Long Term goals
Hire and grow a creative, high performing brand marketing team.
Work closely with the founders to develop, create and build our brand strategy.
Run brand diagnostics such as brand track, attitudes, behaviors etc.
Support launch in international markets as opportunities arise.
Build and establish communication architecture, visual language and tonality
Brand and PR
Navigate marketing and communication efforts to a wider brand planning role with a clear impact on leading Brand Metrics such as: Brand Recall, Brand Awareness, Brand Associations, Customer Satisfaction Index and Brand Health.
Performance Marketing
Work closely with the Revenue Heads to develop marketing & brand project scopes, objectives, deliverables and timelines.
Organic and Content Marketing
Take ownership of marketing strategies across all non-paid channels, including email, newsletter, blog, SEO, social, and content.
Offline Channels
Develop consistent brand communications across offline campaigns (BTL, Seminars, Colleges, Corporate Parks etc.)

Develop and execute campaigns that builds the brand in 20+ cities in India via hyperlocal marketing initiatives alongside the regional branch managers.
Requirements
10+ years of prior experience in a similar marketing role, along with experience in team building and management in a B2C startup.
Sound educational background, preferably from the field of computer science or engineering with a MBA in Marketing
Strong understanding of digital marketing
Self-starter, fast learner, detail-oriented and has critical thinking and a ‘start up’ mentality
KPI driven measurement of success of campaigns is a must
Excellent understanding of different marketing channels & having a custom playbook for key channels
Adept in Copy writing and preferably having written copy for B2C brands
