Admin & HR Manager – Architectural Firm
Bobby Mukherji Architects is seeking a versatile and experienced Admin & HR Manager to oversee both administrative operations and human resource functions. This dual-role is integral to ensuring smooth office management, operational efficiency, and effective people management. The ideal candidate will have a strategic and hands-on approach, with experience in a creative or design-focused environment, and the ability to foster a positive company culture while aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Candidates with Armed Forces and Head Hunter/Placement Agencies backgrounds are highly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative:
Manage office supplies inventory and ensure all essentials are stocked.
Streamline office administrative procedures to enhance efficiency.
Oversee facility management, including maintenance and workspace optimization.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Human Resources:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the firm’s overall business goals.
Lead the recruitment process to attract, select, and retain top talent that aligns with the firm’s culture and values.
Oversee onboarding processes to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
Provide guidance on HR policies, compliance, and employee relations.
Foster a positive and productive work environment through culture-building and team-building initiatives.
Manage performance appraisal systems that drive employee engagement and high performance.
Assess training needs and implement programs to support professional growth.
Provide HR metrics and reports to management for informed decision-making.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Professional certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SHRM) is preferred.
Proven experience in administrative and HR management roles, ideally within the architectural, design, or construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and disciplinary procedures.
Strong understanding of HR systems, databases, and strategies.
Experience in fostering a positive work culture and managing a creative workforce is highly desirable.
