Sales Manager to Strategically Lead the TMI (Test and Measuring Instruments) Business at Integrated Services & Consultancy (ISC, ESA Group) to achieve the Business Objectives of ESA Group and our Principal Partners (https://isc4esaindia.com/).
The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of the relevant technology and products in TMI space with sharp acumen in prospecting opportunities and developing strong relationships with customers.
Candidates having worked in GWInstek, Ametek, Elektro Automatik, Teledyne LeCroy, Tektronix, Agilent, Keysight, Fluke, Keithley or any leading TMI brands or their authorized distributors are preferred.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Test and Measuring Instrument (TMI) Sales Manager in Bengaluru. The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities, developing sales strategies, building client relationships, and meeting sales targets for our TMI partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for Business Development – Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets
a. Identify and Create New market Opportunities
b. Build, Sustain and Upload long term Relationship with Key & Strategic customers
c. Help with Talent Acquisition and Mentor team members to help them achieve individual & team objectives
2. Should Strategically Interface with Principal(s)/Partner(s).
a. Propose Business Plan
b. Build the Forecast Plan
c. Weekly Report to partner(s) on the progress made
d. Willing to Travel (with the country and overseas)
3. Must Own Committed Target Numbers to the Partner(s)
a. Completely own sales targets
b. Handle key accounts and achieve sales
c. Maintain healthy business relationships with Principal Representative(s) in India
4. Must Drive Marketing Campaigns
a. Identify suitable marketing forums
a. Propose marketing budgets for partner(s)
b. Plan and execute marketing plans
5. Should Interface and Work Seamlessly with Dedicated Technical Support Managers
a. Coordinate efforts between Technical Managers, Area Office Managers, and FAEs to achieve identified product portfolio objectives
b. Lead, co-ordinate and manage sales and technical teams to ensure full client satisfaction in both pre and post sales activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
3+ years’ of sales experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the test and measuring instrument industry
Knowledge of TMI equipment and technical specifications
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events
