Job Description
The role is for a creative and versatile UX Writer.
The person will work as a part of the Content team, reporting to the Group Content Manager and collaborating on fast-track projects with our UX and Product functions.
The Content team as a part of the UX & Product functions manages content for the mobile app and web features, working with UX Designers and Product Managers to engage our users.
We are looking for a team member who can quickly dive into UX copywriting across our product.
– 3-5 years of experience as a UX writer or in a similar role.
– Relevant experience writing UI copy for consumer/ technology products or web experiences.
– Working knowledge of the UCD process and product design and how to relate that to business strategy.
– Ability to create copy in a variety of formats, microcopy as well as long-form.
– Meticulous attention to detail and high standards driven by a zeal for good language.
– Ability to manage multiple projects at a time and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
– Positive energy and the willingness to help make a difference for customers.
– Proven problem-solving skills with understanding how to gain insights from user behavior / data, creating copy based on the learnings,.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Experience working directly with designers, product managers, researchers, and other SMEs.
Key Responsibilities :
– Will be responsible for creating copy within products, web experiences and user flows.
– Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to elevate the user experience.
– Understand customer needs and explore innovative solutions.
– Understanding key product strategy metrics and tying them into your content strategy.
– Audit existing content and make recommendations for improvement in copy, layout etc.
– Work towards developing and evolving content standards, best practices, processes and contribute in creating a long-term strategy.
– Working with different stakeholders like sales and marketing to ensure your copy and strategy align with overall company goals.
