Job Description
Role: Financial Planning and Analysis (Manager)Location: BangaloreExperience range: 5 to 10 yearsShift: 2 pm to 11 pmTeam and Position Summary:This position is part of the FP& A CoE Operations Management team which is based out of Walmart Global Tech Chennai office. This team primarily provides operational support to WMT HQ Finance Team and drive continuous improvement/enhancements for budgeting and planning processesFinance professional having 5 10 years of experience in FP& A processes (various planning models including driver-based planning) with robust understanding of FP& A tools and technology who can support transformations & ongoing improvements/ operations of different Walmart segments FP& A processesWhat you will do:Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and partner teams (product, engineering) to manage & continuously improve product processes and enabling technologiesAbility to work in a matrix environment and collaborate across business and fin-Tech teamsSound understanding of forecasting and budgeting (AOP) activities with experience of end-to-end cycle (Variance analysis, flash reports, etc)Understanding and knowledge of working with large datasets with multiple dimensions. Understanding of primary system interaction with multiple systemsHigh proficiency in excel based modelling, developing & maintaining clean, scalable, and flexible modelsStrong experience in Excel modelling requiredCollaborate with Fin-tech & business teams in product UAT and sign offAbility to identify execution risks and roadblocks in timely manner thereby ensuring noiseless delivery and efficient stakeholder managementProven ability to accurately document existing processes, change requests and business requirements and maintaining functional design modelsSupport in maintaining training documentation to capture FP& A models and systemExperience of tech implementation/enhancements along with hyper-care supportWhat you will bring:CA / CPA / MBA or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in FP& A processesExperience of working with Fin-Tech and product teams in matrix environmentUnderstanding of excel based financial data modellingAdditional Qualifications:Knowledge of JIRA & Confluence will prove to be an assetExposure to OneStream/ HFM application will be added advantageExperience in finance/FP& A transformation role inan agile methodologyAbout Walmart Global TechImagine working in an environment where one line of code can make life easier for hundreds of millions of people.
