Logistics done differently.Join XPO, Inc. as a Manager, Finance PMO and Lead Strategic Finance TransformationWe’re looking for a strategic and motivated Manager, Finance PMO to lead our Project Management Office. In this role, you’ll oversee the execution of key projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You’ll develop and implement project management methodologies, enhance project delivery, and lead a team of project managers and finance analysts. Additionally, you’ll provide coaching and support to your team to drive success.Pay, benefits, and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including medical insurance, life insurance, etc.Location: PuneTiming: 4 PM to 1 AMWhat you’ll do on a typical day:Continuous Improvement –Regularly assess and enhance PMO processes to boost project efficiency and delivery.Adapt to shifting organizational priorities and guide the team through transitions.Leadership –Lead and mentor PMO staff and project managers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback to team members, and identify training needs and opportunities for professional development. Set clear goals for project performance and team productivity while overseeing the overall direction and coordination of partner teams.Project Management –Provide guidance and support to project managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle, including developing project scopes and objectives with relevant stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility, and creating and managing detailed project documentation. Monitor project performance metrics, hold owners accountable, implement corrective actions as needed, and ensure adherence to project governance policies and procedures when managing changes in scope, schedule, or costs. Stakeholder Management – Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and external partners, while serving as an escalation point for project status, risks, and issues. Work effectively across teams to deliver high-quality projects and process improvements that support operational teams in achieving their KPIs. Anticipate potential risks and issues that may impact projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Directly supervises up to 12 non-supervisory employees.Oversee the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Finance PMO team.What you need to succeed at XPO:At a minimum, you’ll need:A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.Certification in Lean/Six Sigma (Green or Black) or a professional qualification like PMP, CAPM, CSM, or PRINCE2.Over 10 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, Finance Operations, Shared Services, or transformational consulting.More than 5 years of experience in Finance transformation or Project management, with a proven track record in leadership and people management.Strong background in process improvement, change management, program management, and project planning.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Basic understanding of Looker, HRC, and Oracle reports.Experience with High Radius Cloud, Oracle, Looker, Coupa, and/or Jira is a plus.Be part of something big and join our tea
