Job Description

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with the ability to handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure quality and control of projects, handle client interaction, and act as the subject expert. Role reports to head of engineering. 

Responsibilities

• Control the entire project life cycle
• Track progress and milestones
• Be the primary link between the engineering team and Head of Engineering
• Train engineering teams on product requirements, product functionality and product requirements
• Develop and manage the project, communication, resource plans and processes
• Analyze all management and technical processes to ensure projects are delivered as expected
• Meet regularly with project stakeholders, internal & external, and define project goals and objectives
• Schedule project timelines
• Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects
• Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including assignments and personnel review
• Define roles and responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables
• Research and evaluate new hardware and software technology best suited for projects and products

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
• Proficient in programming with exposure to any of C++, Java, C#, etc.
• Familiar with Scrum methodologies

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in engineering or project management in financial markets
