Job Description

Manage and oversee the operations of the corporate accounting (eg. bookkeeping, the monthly and end-year process,management reporting, budgeting,periodical financial forecasting, and others as required) for the entity and its group companies (consolidation basis).
 Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with
regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
 Manage cash management and treasury operations activities including bank account
management, intercompany funding, cash flow forecasting, and manage reporting with
banking partners.
 Submit monthly, quarterly and annual GST, WHT, Corporate Tax and other Tax filing/returns by the stipulated deadline.
 Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities to facilitate audits and
ensure compliance with industry/country regulation.
 Oversee the cost allocation and budgeting as it pertains to Capital Projects, including
leading the team to deliver on monthly Capex Reporting

 Build a network of trusted partners (auditors, tax consultants, corporate
secretarial service providers, etc.) in India.
 Manage all aspects of vessel accounting, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
 Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to vessel
operations, including lube oil expenses, maintenance costs, and crew related
expenses.
 Correct categorization of pre-delivery, drydock, charterers, and extraordinary cost
and ensure funding is received from Owners.
 Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models and forecasts to support
strategic decision-making for vessel operations
 Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize cost control and financial
performance of vessels.
 Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost savings and operational
improvements.
 Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure credit facility terms, conditions,
and covenants are satisfied
 Lead the team to analyze debt lines and credit facilities; may help with
other types of financial analysis (such as peer analysis)
 Is future-focused on identifying opportunities, prioritization and planning, building out plans
for next phases of business transformation
 Provides board level, executive level, and operational level reporting
 Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset to support a world- class finance
and accounting practices, acting as a project sponsor when required
 Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff.
 Stay updated on industry developments, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting maritime accounting and finance.
 Hold responsibility for providing best in class customer solutions leveraging a
cross functional team
 Partners and develops strong relationships with key points of contact and relevant
stakeholders within each customer organization
 Leads cross functional initiatives by providing a technical orientation to customer solutions
and relationships
 Ensures a customer orientation in the delivery services among the respective
department
 Performs other duties as required
