Operation Associate (On contract-Amazon)

DESCRIPTION :

Amazon India is seeking highly analytical and detail oriented candidate to join the Co-op program team in Bangalore (World Trade Center). As part of the team, the candidate will work on streamlining and automating processes for billing and collections for A.in, troubleshoot issues, and communicate the findings effectively across different teams. This role will support regular operations of the E-commerce business. An ideal candidate is one who enjoys discovering and solving complicated problems, can quickly learn complex systems, likes to work with numbers, and takes pride in organizing and communicating his/her work.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Communication with external and internal customers in driving automation tool adoption
• Ability to pull data from numerous databases (using Excel) and to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Develop and/or understand performance metrics to assist with driving business results.
• Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make decisions that make sense based on available data.
• Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
• 1-2 years of work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical skills – has ability to ask right questions, analyze data, draws conclusion by making appropriate assumptions.
• Proficiency in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and influence decision making.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-2 yrs of relevant work experience.
• Working on complex projects involving multiple functions

SALARY RANGE: 5 LPA
