Oracle Billing & Revenue Management Tester
Job Description
Profile : Oracle Billing & Revenue Management (BRM) Testers
Location : Bangalore
Duration : 4-6 : 6+ years (including industry experience in BRM, ECE, CNE testing)
Job Responsibilities and Development :
– BRM Modules : Working knowledge and hands-on experience in all Oracle BRM modules, including Subscription Management, Billing & Invoicing, Payments & Account Receivable, Collections, and Integration.
– ECE & CNE : Proficiency in testing and working with Oracle Elastic Charging Engine (ECE) and Convergent Network Engine (CNE).
Test Case Development :
– Author and develop test cases and scenarios based on requirement documents.
– Ensure thorough coverage and alignment with business requirements.
Test Execution :
– Execute all levels of testing, including System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing.
– Log defects, perform retesting after fixes, and validate overall solution sanity.
Development Experience :
– Hands-on experience as a BRM developer, with knowledge of Development Database Objects (DD Objects).
– Ability to create POCs/prototypes to verify the sanity of Skills :
– Programming Skills : Strong programming skills in C, C++, and familiarity with Java technologies. Experience in using Oracle 12c/19c, PL/SQL, PCM Java, BRM Webservices, and scripting languages (Perl/Python/Shell).
– Test Management Tools : Familiarity with tools such as HP ALM, Bugzilla, Jira, or equivalent test management platforms.
– Reporting : Design and generate reports using SQL queries, configure data models and templates, and create reports in various formats, including bursting queries.
– Software Testing and Lifecycle
– Defect Lifecycle : Understanding of software testing processes and defect lifecycle management.
– Documentation : Provide documentation support at various stages of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Assist the test lead/manager in generating daily and weekly execution reports.
Domain Expertise :
Telecom Domain :
– Basic understanding of the telecom domain, particularly in BSS/OSS, with a focus on billing modules.
– Domain knowledge in Pre-paid and Post-paid Billing for Broadband/Wireless Voice/SMS/Data service Infrastructure :
– Knowledge of deploying Billing and Revenue Management solutions on-premise and/or cloud infrastructures.
– Customer and Stakeholder Interaction
– Customer-Facing Skills : Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to conduct workshops with customers using Oracle tools, technologies, and methodologies.
– Communication : Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners.
– Methodologies and Flexibility
– Project Methodologies : Experience working on Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or iterative model projects. Flexibility to adapt to DevOps : Willingness to travel as required by the project.
Mandatory Skills :
