The Colleague Services and Digital Capabilities (CSDC) organization within the Colleague Experience Group (CEG – also known as Human Resources) at American Express plays a critical role in providing the outstanding services, capabilities, data, and insights that enable a great colleague experience. This role will be led Manager of Digital Product Solution Design within CSDC. As part of this team, you will be working on Oracle HCM Core HR configuration, upgradation and support. You will partner with HR operations, product, and Technology engineering to unlock the full potential of our HR systems.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the HCM Functional lead to provide standard methodologies on HR business processes and Oracle HCM cloud functional expertise on Core HR configurations and support.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into efficient system configuration of Oracle module. Assess scope, undertake fit-gap analysis and impact analysis, and size and design solutions.
  • Help investigate and resolve operational, system functional and technical errors and opportunities. Troubleshoot systems and data and generate effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Oracle HCM Cloud releases, updates, and features.
  • Collaborate with CEG teams, Technology and other partners supporting roadmaps and looking for process improvements with our Oracle HCM products.
  • Key Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Oracle HCM Core HR Functional configuration/support role.
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud expertise in Core HR implementation, maintenance, and support.
  • Hands-on Oracle HCM experience in configuration like work structure, Oracle Journey, Approvals, DFF, EFF, design studio, page composer and other user administration activities.
  • A good balance of business insight and technical knowledge with a proven track record of driving platform changes with a customer-first approach
  • Must have the ability to “connect the dots” between new business requirements with HCM functional/technical configurations.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology solutions and ideas to diverse stakeholders, including technical teams and business partners.
  • Demonstrable ability to push the boundaries of existing technologies and processes.
