Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter in the Furniture Industry to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and stains to furniture products to enhance their appearance. This is a full-time position located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of experience in painting furniture.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Painter in the Furniture Industry with a Mid-Level experience of 4 to 6 years.
• In-depth knowledge of furniture painting techniques, materials, and finishes.
• Ability to mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and hues.
• Familiarity with various painting tools and equipment, such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure proper coverage and smooth finish.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work standing up for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare furniture surfaces by removing old paint, varnish, or stains before applying new finishes.
• Apply paint, varnishes, and stains to furniture surfaces using various techniques such as brushing, rolling, or spraying.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and hues.
• Ensure proper coverage and smooth finish by applying appropriate number of coats.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning painting tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety precautions and use protective equipment to prevent accidents or health hazards.
• Inspect finished furniture products to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Communicate and collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to improve painting skills and knowledge.
