Performance Architect
Job Summary:
This position performs duties and tasks to support full systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing communication, and support the achievement of objectives. He/She provides development, maintenance, and support for applications.
Responsibilities:
The Performance Architect will be responsible for optimizing system performance and ensuring its scalability, resiliency, and responsiveness.
Understand Requirements and Design, build, and execute performance Test Plan
Defect tracking and Documentation
Work with technical teams to define auto-scaling options for the applications.
Work along with the technical team to resolve any performance bottlenecks identified during performance testing.
Primary Skills:
7 – 10 years of total experience as a performance tester and Engineering
Crafting frameworks for measuring, analyzing, and enhancing performance metrics at various levels within the organization.
Have worked closely with Business stakeholders, DBA’s, IT Product Owners or respective stakeholders, Developers and SRE, to identify potential performance test areas.
Develop Performance testing strategy and work with performance testers to create performance test plan
Experience in creating load design plan, data volume required to conduct different performance tests
Experience in working closely with different vendors to baseline and benchmark the performance
Experience in monitoring tools to analyze performance results
Provide constant feedback on performance tuning and improvements to respective teams (Application, DB, etc)
Analyze the performance break points and design the test data for different types of performance tests
Experience in working Agile/Scrum environment.
Has demonstrable experience in using a wide variety of load testing tools, not limited but essential Load runner and JMeter.
Showcases Operation Readiness Experience
Experience in both Web and Windows applications.
Additional Primary Skills:
Design Thinking, Coaching of Junior Quality Engineers
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent
Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or related field – Preferred.
