Job Description

Jiv Daya Foundation is seeking a qualified Pharmacist or Nurse with relevant experience in Rheumatology and familiarity with biologics and medicines used in the field of rheumatology. This is an office-based position in Delhi, with occasional travel required to visit hospitals across the country.

Main Responsibilities
Patient Support & Follow-up
Conduct regular follow-ups with patients supported by the foundation with Biologics
Gather detailed patient data, including condition updates, treatment progress, and any side effects experienced.
Assess the need for switching to alternative medicines or biologics based on patient response.
Identify and document financial challenges faced by patients in accessing medications, and propose solutions to provide necessary support.
Counsel patients on adherence to treatment, potential side effects, and medication management.
Act as a liaison between the foundation, healthcare providers, and patients to ensure smooth treatment transitions and support.

Site Visits & Needs Assessment
Visit hospitals and rheumatology centers across India to assess gaps in biologics and other rheumatology medicines.
Identify government Hospitals requiring support for rheumatology biologics and medicines.
Build strong relationships with healthcare providers and hospital staff.

Patient and Staff Education
Educate hospital staff on proper usage and storage of donated biologics and medicines.
Counsel patients on biologics usage, adherence, and side-effect management.
Gather patient information for pre-approval processes for biologics therapy.

Medicine & Biologics Inventory Management
Manage medicine and biologics inventory in coordination with vendors.
Ensure timely procurement, dispatch, and tracking of biologics and rheumatology medicines.
Monitor and report on medicine utilization at supported sites.

Medicine Procurement & Distribution
Work with vendors to procure high-quality biologics and medicines at optimal costs.
Coordinate shipment logistics, including dispatch and receipt confirmations at hospitals.
Track shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

Data Management & Reporting
Maintain detailed records of patient outcomes, medicine utilization, and inventory.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing medicine usage, patient adherence, and site needs.
Forecast medicine requirements for supported hospitals based on historical utilization.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Pharmacist or Nurse

with a minimum of

2-3 years of experience

in healthcare, preferably in Rheumatology or biologics.
Familiarity with

rheumatology diseases, biologics

and medicines.
Proficiency in

MS Office

and

Google Workspace .
Willingness to travel to hospitals across India.
