The Opportunity
“Project Management-Principal Consultant is the part of the Delivery Management practice within Professional Services organization. This PM will ensure successful & consistent delivery of FICO Software/solutions to customers in every industry, effectively manage commercials by securing committed revenue & maintain healthy margins and effective change management to secure additional revenue for the organization. Will play a key role in the growth of our Services practice, help implement best practice and new methodologies, and help our organization to deliver projects as per agreed scope, schedule & budget ensuring higher revenue & maintain healthy margins for the organization.” – Project Management – Sr Director
What You’ll Contribute
- Successful project implementation by using project management best practices & methodologies.
- Manage a project team of functional and technical consultants (internal & external).
- Good understanding of FICO products to be able to converse with the client in a knowledgeable and confident manner.
- Build trusted client relationships throughout project lifecycle.
- Interpret different commercial and contractual terms and manage the project as per agreed terms & conditions of the contract.
- Support Practice Leads and Sales teams on pre- sales activity and proposals (incl. Statements of Work approvals/ Project Management estimates).
- Adhere to PMO Governance & Project Reporting using Project management tools.
What We’re Seeking
- Extensive Project Management experience.
- Worked in a reputable Bank, System Integrators (SI), Product Company (like FICO) and/or Software Organizations.
- Software implementation experience in Project Management/Technical Delivery Management.
- Should have delivered end-2-end large / medium software projects using Waterfall & Agile Methodology.
- Experience in delivering software solutions in Loan Originations, Fraud, Compliance, Customer Management).
- Track record of owning and carrying out projects from start to finish with a strong prioritization and time management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with internal & external teams and varying levels of management.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to independently drive projects through to completion.
- Highly collaborative approach to build, manage and motivate project teams spread across Geographies, Department and Organizations (Clients and Partners).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent work experience.
- PMP or equivalent project management certifications like scrum master, SAFe.
- Willing to travel (20-30%) when COVID travel restrictions permit.
- Proficient in written and spoken English & Malay/Mandarin.
