Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our team at DCS Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of various projects. This is a full-time position based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and best practices
  • Excellent business acumen and ability to align project objectives with business goals
  • Demonstrated success in project implementation and delivery
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional project teams
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects within agreed-upon timelines, scope, and budget
  • Manage project teams and motivate team members to achieve project goals
  • Identify project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables
  • Manage project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and budget reports
  • Facilitate effective communication and coordination among project team members
  • Conduct project meetings, workshops, and presentations as required
  • Evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies

Job Description

Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure the procurement of goods and services that meet quality standards while minimizing costs and risks. This involves identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and establishing long-term relationships with key vendors.

Select, assess, and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the organization’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This includes monitoring supplier performance, conducting supplier audits, and resolving any issues that may arise.

Analyze market trends, negotiate pricing, and implement cost-saving measures to optimize the organization’s procurement budget. Purchase Managers often work to reduce procurement costs while maintaining or improving product or service quality.
