Job Description:

• RCC dam projects of minimum height of 139 Mtrs.
• Expert in Dam Engineering (Large Concrete Gravity Dams)
• Expert in Dam construction with minimum 20 to 25 years of experience.
• Experienced in construction of Concrete Gravity Dams, RCC dams, etc.
• Candidate should have sound knowledge of International Codes and Standards.
• Minimum work experience of 3 international Large Dam Projects.
• Expertise covers every part of Dam including piers, spillways, bulkheads slots, gates, etc.
• Candidate must have Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills, professionalism, organizational capacity and ability to effectively transfer knowledge and provide training to resources.
• Ability to travel to site and offices of other stakeholders to resolve project issues as and when required.

Responsibilities:

• Review of Construction Planning of Dam and recommend latest international practices.
• Proposing & managing the Dam Concrete Placement Solutions using various systems, viz., Cable cranes, Towerbelts, etc; and equipment planning required to cover all aspects.
• Evaluation of Concrete Conveyor Systems or alternate methods.
• Managing Concrete Mix Designs, Quality Control and High Speed Placement.
• Laision with vendors to properly install, execute & monitor the concreting systems.
• Making recommendations on utilization of available machineries from other projects.
• Ensure that high quality construction is achieved and all work is carried outin full compliance with the engineering design, technical specifications and other contract documents.
• Identify alternative solutions and optimization opportunities that could impact the site operations, based on strategy determined.
• Strong liaison with Clients/PMC and actively respond to technical queries.
• Participate in project review meetings and project milestone meetings.
• Work within defined deadlines, understanding customer requirements, identifying risks and presenting work to the higher management.
• Continuous review and improvement of the overall program strategy.
• Actively supervising the engineering tasks; providing guidance to the Project Team.

Qualification: B.E. / B. Tech / MTech – Civil Engineering
