About the role- Responsible for driving business growth by formulating an effective sales & marketing strategy and undertaking business development to help meet Company’s growth objectives; this includes nurturing and managing key accounts and alliances in coordination with the plant.

EXPERIENCE

Duties you’ll be entrusted with:

Financial

  • Survey markets for emerging trends, competitor information, market share and manufacturing capabilities and identify new geographies/markets/product segments to enter into to drive business growth.
  • Develop BD strategy for different segments- Automotive, Aerospace, EV etc in collaboration with the BD/Technical- Directors to drive growth.
  • Prepare, consolidate and drive Monthly and Annual Sales Targets based on Annual Operating Plan.
  • Drive the composite components sales (with end to end responsibility from lead generation, RFQ, quotation, sales order, delivery) to increase revenue for the Company.
  • Ensure timely customer collections.

Customer

  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings, making presentations to prospective customers.
  • Researching organizations to find new opportunities, finding and developing new markets and Maintaining database of the potential clients, contact details and details of ongoing discussion.
  • Having initial discussion with potential clients, assessing the feasibility and then taking forward for technical discussions with Engineering/Directors.
  • Handling the RFQ and coordinating with engineering for technical feasibility / data and other internal departments to get the cost of various BOM items, freight etc and submit the quote to customers within timelines.
  • Maintaining the RFQ register/CRM with details of all the ongoing discussions.
  • Keeping track of tenders from PSUs and applying for the same.
  • Oversee smooth conduct of process, quality, financial audit and technical audits by customers.
  • Lead key customer discussions on repeat business and increase in the share of business with the Plant Head.

Process

  • Organizing weekly/monthly reviews with Directors to review Sales Pipeline, Sales Performance.
  • Participate and lead periodic project reviews with the plant team for adherence to new project timelines.
  • Lead customer communications to drive QCD along with the Plant team.
  • Participate in annual business planning activity and provide inputs in terms of the market assessment, pricing strategy and trends to ensure the development of a robust business plan.
  • Actively promote company brand through ATL, BTL activities
  • Maintain and update websites, social/digital media campaigns, corp presentations, ads, brochures etc.
  • Identify opportunities to participate in domestic and international exhibitions, forums etc to expand market presence of the company

  • Drive company core values within the organization.
  • Nominate subordinates actively for people development initiatives like training, workshops across the organization etc.

Basic Requirements

  • BE/BTech , MBA in Marketing

  • Manufacturing Industry (Composite industry preferred)
