Level Manager
Years of experience: 9 -12 Years
Consulting Expertise:
- Retail domain consultant with a sharp business, commercial & analytical acumen, excellent in strategic thinking and problem solving, familiarity of key market trends, risks and economic / business environments
- Expertise in particular sub-sector would be preferred. Examples include –Home & Personal Care, Tobacco, Apparel & Fashion etc
- n-depth expertise of E2E Consumer Value Chain, industry trends & emerging technologies. Examples include Digital Transformation, Consumer Analytics, Supply Chain Planning and Execution, Customer Experience Management & Omni Channel / E-commerce, Intelligent Automation, SMAC (Social, Mobility, Analytics & Cloud) & Process Analytics
- Strong track record of establishing client connects, shaping opportunities, qualifying & constructing leads, RFIs/RFPs, developing Service Offerings, creating delivery and financial model & growth oriented Go-to-Market strategy (GTM), adept at Solution Design / Bid Management / Sales Pursuits & building strong value proposition
Domain Expertise :
- Domain expertise and end-to-end implementation knowledge in one or more areas from the following list is a must.
- Digital – Working knowledge of platforms and tools to drive experience design and dev, cloud services, emerging tech enhancements using IoT, AR/VR, AI/ML, Blockchain, and customer tech like Adobe, mobile APIs etc. Knowledge on Microsoft and its applications is a plus
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain & logistics – Working knowledge of BlueYonder, Kinaxis, OMP or any similar solution is preferred
- Warehouse Management (WMS) – Working knowledge of Manhattan WMS, Softeon WMS, NetSuite WMS and so on are preferred
- Distribution management – Working knowledge on TPM, Retail execution, CRM platforms or any COTs is preferred
- eCommerce/D2C – Commerce Cloud, Shopify or any such platform knowledge is preferred
- Finance – Working knowledge of Blackline or any similar such solutions is preferred
Solution Architecture:
- Following are the some of the key Solution skills expected from this role, should have led at least 1 solution and successfully taken to production
- Proficient with architecture views and architecture styles
- Define foundational elements of the Architecture and make Architectural & Technical decisions
- Defining the roadmap for cloud migration or migration to a new tech stack
- Ability to perform capacity planning (Cloud and On-Premises)
Technical Architecture:
- Following are the some of the key technical skills expected from this role
- Technology stack (Java .Net or any other technology exposure)
- Design & Engineering aspects around green field software development
- Familiar with Architecture Patterns
- Experience in technology selection in building enterprise solutions

- Partner closely with the technical teams, Architecture, Solutions and Delivery in ensuring that our client’s needs are addressed, and the solution is best suited for their needs
- Understanding the Client, Brand, Business Key Drivers, Industry Positioning, Growth Areas and challenges they face
- Drive change and create a collaborative workspace within EY with best practices, workshops and knowledge sharing sessions with Retail community
