Sales Development Manager
Job Description
Job Title : Manager – Sales Development
Purpose of the Role:
To anchor various GT Sales initiatives like Van operation, Execution on all Qualitative inputs like lead indicators. Managing dotted line of three Sales Development managers based out of Zonal locations.
Key Deliverables of the Role
Work with HO functional head , Zonal Sales Development managers and regional sales team for execution of HO / Regional initiatives
Drive on ground execution of Lead indicators like Effective coverage, Total Lines Sold , Effective man days , Billing efficiency and sustain business output deliveries.
Implement Sales Transformation agendas such as SFA implementation, TMR usage, Van rationalization / optimization etc
Anchor & drive GTM initiatives across urban and rural markets such as any new channel development, S&D plan execution for the region
Build insights from market to develop initiatives for driving business
Identify distribution gaps & bridging outlet gaps to maximize long term business growth
Planning and analysis of annuities & incentive schemes at different levels like employees, ISRs , Trade partners.
Managing Trips, contest for Sales team with legitimate course correction if required.

Other Key Interface
Area Sales Manager teams – For driving on ground agendas. Sales teams to work closely with the SDM providing all required data for seamless execution of the various tasks as listed above
Sales IT team – IT team to provide all relevant support and work closely with the SDM to get any IT related infrastructure executed in the region. All planning of implementation to be made with the SDM
Qualification & Experience
MBA with 10-15 years of experience
General Trade, Sales Development and GTM exposure is required.
