Introduction and background:

Generation AV Pte. Ltd.  was setup in 2019 in Singapore as a manufacturer’s representative firm for enabling western manufacturers to access markets in APAC and South Asia. Generation AV (India) Pvt. Ltd. was formed in November 2022 to support Generation AV’s distribution partners and also to incubate and grow specialist brands through value added distribution.

Generation AV’s portfolio of brands includes Optimal Audio, Sonance, LEA Professional, HH Electronics, NST Audio, SurgeX and IMAG Systems, that are directly distributed in India, in addition to Martin Audio, Sonance, James Loudspeaker and IPORT, that are supported through distribution partners.

Generation AV (India) Pvt. Ltd. is focused on providing a value-added approach to distribution by supporting all brands both commercially and technically to ensure a differentiated, superior experience through the product life cycle. Generation AV India works with pro-audio dealers, resellers, system integrators and end-customers; right through understanding of requirements, designing solutions, providing installation and commissioning support and post sales service and support to customers and partners.

Open Position:
Sales Operations and Logistics Co-ordinator, India

Location and Travel:
Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Initially WFH, may need to report to office 2-3 times in a week for team meetings and co-ordination. Local travel within MMR may be required on a need basis for warehouse visits etc.

Role and Responsibility:
1.      Sales order processing: Order processing, invoicing, credit terms and payment collection
2.      Sales forecasting and inventory management: Draw up sales pipeline by account, product and provide a pipeline to sales staff and management.
3.      Inventory, Logistics and Supply Chain: Liaising with 3PL provider for in-bound product movement, warehouse management and product dispatches. Inventory planning and forecasting.
4.      Service Co-ordination: Reverse logistics for in-warranty and out-of-warranty support, liaising with service partner.

Educational qualifications:
Graduate degree in management or commerce, with additional diploma or certificate in supply chain management and inventory management (desirable, not mandatory).

Candidates would need to be proficient in order entry and processing software such as Tally/Zoho and MS Office. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary and proficiency in English and Hindi is expected. A positive attitude and team spirit would be appreciated.

Experience :
Three to five years of relevant experience in order processing, inventory management, sales forecasting and supply chain management.
