Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist with a fitness background and proven sales experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will connect with potential customers, understand their wellness goals, and guide them toward Shvasa’s offerings. Your expertise in fitness and ability to build rapport will be critical in driving growth and helping our users embark on a transformative yoga journey.

Key Responsibilities:

i. Customer Engagement:

  • Proactively connect with prospective users to understand their fitness and wellness goals.
  • Highlight the benefits of Shvasa’s programs that are tailored to their needs.

ii. Sales Execution:

  • Drive conversions for Shvasa subscriptions, including higher-tier plans like Yoga Teacher Training (YTT).
  • Identify upsell opportunities by understanding user preferences and fitness objectives.

iii. Lead Management:

  • Manage leads efficiently through CRM tools, ensuring timely follow-ups and tracking progress.
  • Develop targeted sales strategies to maximize customer acquisition and satisfaction.

iv. Fitness Advocacy:

  • Leverage your fitness background to explain the value of yoga as part of a holistic wellness routine.
  • Act as a knowledgeable advocate for the benefits of live yoga instruction.

v Performance Optimization:

  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the team to refine sales scripts, pitches, and strategies based on performance data.

vi. Market Feedback:

  • Gather insights on user needs, preferences, and concerns to inform product and service improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors/Masters in management or related fields.
  • A background in fitness (e.g., yoga instruction, personal training, nutrition, or other wellness-related roles).
  • Proven 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the US/Canada market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Experience working in a growing startup environment is a plus.
