What does Associate/Sr Associate – CUS do in Fiserv?

  1. As a Senior Associate of Computer Operations, your primary role will be to provide functional support to Credit Unions through Fiserv’s integrated Account Processing Solutions.

What will the person do in his role?

  • Monitoring: Keeping an eye on system performance, transactions, and data.
  • Transmission: Handling data transfers between systems or parties.
  • ACH Processing: Managing Automated Clearing House transactions.
  • Share Draft Processing: Handling checks and drafts.
  • Deconversion: Assisting with data migration or system transitions.
  • Day End Processing: Closing out daily operations.
  • EoM/EoQ/EoY Processing: Handling end-of-month, end-of-quarter, and end-of-year tasks.
  • Statement Processing: Generating and distributing account statements.
  • Vendor Engagement: Interacting with external vendors
  • Internal Engagements: In-house upstream and downstream processes across geographies
  • Scheduling: Managing task schedules.
  • Automation Tools/Scripts Updates: Maintaining automated processes.
  • Client Cases: Addressing customer inquiries or issues.
  • Card Files Processing: Managing card-related data.
  • Non-Custodial Process: Managing non-custodial accounts

What does the person need to have?

  1. Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Application/Commerce with knowledge of Banking Domain
  2. 1.5 years relevant experience preferred.
  3. Experience of working with Product support and high availability solutions support environments (complex financial environment preferred).

What would be great to have?

  1. An advanced degree in IT/Computer science Engineering or related discipline
  2. Exposure to Unix environment.
  3. ITIL certification
