Senior Copywriter
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative and effective content strategies for brands across all channels, including website, email, social media, and advertising
- Write and edit website copy, blog articles, product descriptions, email marketing campaigns, social media posts, and advertising copy that is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand voice and tone
- Collaborate with visualizers, art directors, and other cross-functional team members to develop and execute on-brand campaigns and initiatives
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform content creation and strategy
- Ensure all content is accurate, error-free, and meets brand and style guidelines
- Review and provide feedback on content created by other team members
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior copywriters and other team members, as needed
- Present concepts/ideas to brands as per briefs and ensure that the feedback is incorporated
- Ability to delegate tasks efficiently to junior team members
- Ability to work on 3-5 brands simultaneously
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- 3-4 years of experience in copywriting or content marketing, with a portfolio of work that demonstrates exceptional writing skills and creativity
- Strong understanding of content marketing on social media, SEO, and digital marketing best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write in a variety of styles and formats
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread and edit own work and the work of others
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketing managers
