Job Description

Position Overview:
Join the team that manages the end-to-end technology and life cycle management of the applications hosted both on premise and in the AWS cloud.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Advisor with more than 13years of experience to join the Data and Analytics Engineering (D&AE) operational effectiveness team. . The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in creating & managing complex data queries and pipelines.

Responsibilities:
Automation of application health checks and manual workarounds using python.
Enable the self-healing capabilities to reduce the human interference, user impact and to increase the availability.
Partner with other teams and stake holders for any clarifications needed for the timely deliverables.
Ability to provide alternative solutions.
Responsible for the team deliverables

Required skills Experience & Education:
Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
13-16+ years of experience in developer role.
8+ years of hands-on development experience with Python
8+ years of experience with SAS programming. (SAS MACROS, SAS Functions)
Data Integration:

Skills in extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from multiple sources into SAS for further analysis
Data Cleansing:

Techniques for cleaning and preparing data, handling missing values, outliers, and ensuring data quality.
5+ years of experience in any cloud
Ability to create, modify, and manage datasets using the DATA step. This includes merging, sorting, subsetting, and transforming data.
Skills in reading and writing data from various sources like text files, Excel, databases, and other formats.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries within SAS to retrieve, filter, and manipulate data from SAS datasets or relational databases
Experienced with agile methodology.
