Role Overview:
As the Senior Executive/Assistant Manager – Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing HR operations for our Pune location. This is an individual contributor role focused on handling end-to-end HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and HR policy implementation. You will play a crucial role in shaping the employee experience, ensuring compliance, and supporting the business with effective HR strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
- Develop job descriptions, post job openings, and conduct initial screenings and interviews.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and align recruitment strategies.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires, including induction and orientation programs.
- Handle the exit process, conduct exit interviews, and manage employee separations with sensitivity.
HR Operations and Administration:
- Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Oversee payroll inputs, attendance tracking, and leave management.
- Handle statutory compliance and ensure timely submission of returns and adherence to labor laws.
Employee Engagement and Relations:
- Design and implement employee engagement activities and initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Address employee grievances and manage conflict resolution in alignment with company policies.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions and stay connected with employees to improve satisfaction and retention.
Performance Management:
- Support the performance appraisal process by coordinating reviews and assisting with goal setting.
- Work with managers to identify employee development needs and coordinate training programs.
HR Policy Implementation:
- Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure communication and enforcement of company policies, ethics, and values.
Learning and Development:
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
- Support career development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Education: MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, HR operations, and employee engagement in Hospitality Sector.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Good understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Proactive and self-driven with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of HR functions.
