Who we’re scouting for:
An individual with a strong background in ideation and writing craft, with previous experience from an Ad Agency.
As a Copywriter at PhonePe, you will have an exciting role.
You will have the freedom to come up with witty ideas and interact with multiple teams (Brand Marketing, Product Marketing, Category Marketing, Offline, Social and Revenue), so that you’re always doing and learning something new.
An eye for spotting typos and impeccable grammar go without saying, but craft, insight and ideation are non negotiables. Day in and out, you will be weaving narratives infused with creativity and crafting compelling messages. You will play a major role in shaping the creative direction of our ads, ensuring effective messaging that resonates with our target audiences. What’s more, your copy will be read by over 48 Cr Indians. You’re welcome!
Skillset:
- 8+ years of experience as a Copywriter/Content Designer/Creative Writer/Wordsmith/Copy something, anything.
- Is a storyteller – Can cook up ideas in an interesting format
- Is a brainstormer – Can collaborate on ideas with ease with the internal team as well as bug external stakeholders with 100 questions to gain more insights.
- Is a digger – Can go in depth into research for gaining insights on product, category or target audience.
- Is a charmer with words – Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas.
- Is a fighter – Can stand up for creatives and justify decisions with rationale.
- Does the obvious – Pro at crafting headlines, slogans, catchphrases, straplines and body copy for print, scripts for radio jingles, promotional videos and TV commercials, content creation for social and digital content
- Is thick skinned – Can bounce back upon receiving feedback and is not fixated on first thoughts/ideas but can rationale and reason out with stakeholders to arrive at a concrete solution.
- Is a jack of all – Can work on a diverse set of content – Social, Print, Product, Marketing, Activations, TVCs, Radio.
- Is a Math lover – Can create content that is fact-filled, interesting, and appealing to the target audience while working around metrics.
- Is on point – Ensures the alignment of the proposed creative solutions as per the brand guidelines and in accordance with the brand personality, end-to-end crafting content that reinforces our brand’s style or voice through its various touchpoints.
